Qualified applicant is preferred to have a high school or General Equivalency diploma (GED), but not required.  Experience working in the food service/preparation industry is preferred, but not required.

 

The successful applicant will prepare and/or serve breakfast and/or lunch; assist in putting away weekly food deliveries; clean & maintain cafeteria kitchens, serving areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition. 

 

Work environment includes, but not limited to, significant lifting (up to 30 lbs.), carrying, pushing and/or pulling and stooping.  Generally, the job requires 50% walking and 50% standing.

 

Substitute cafeteria staff will fill in for absent employees as needed throughout the district.  

 

Pay starts at $14.22 per hour
