McKinney-Vento High School Summer Program Facilitator
JOB GOAL
Plan and facilitate the middle school summer learning program.
QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to certified applicants.

SCHEDULE
Training Dates:
Summer Sessions:
- June 3-June 7, 2024, Monday-Friday
- Site facilitators will be expected to commit to the entire summer program
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prior to Summer Camps:
- Schedule and plan summer learning activities
- Set-up the site in coordination with the building administration
- Communicate with community partners involved in activities leading up to camp dates
- Communicate with students attending the Summer Camp at your location
- Other duties as assigned
During the Summer Camps:
- Ensure health protocols are implemented to maintain student and staff safety
- Facilitate summer learning activities
- Monitor site locations to maintain clean and safe environment
- Communicate student needs to McKinney-Vento Program Staff
- Communicate with necessary stakeholders as necessary and required (parents, teachers, students, transportation, ATC staff, Food Service, etc.)
- Ensure attendance protocols are followed
- Monitor arrival, dismissal, breakfast and lunch
- Ensure staffing coverage is in place for staff absences
- Maintain accurate records as required for the Summer Learning Camps
- Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job may require lifting or carrying of objects that exceed fifty (50) pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows: pushing and/or pulling, stooping and/or kneeling, reaching and/or handling, talking, hearing, seeing, and climbing.
